Nature Watching
Amazing animals and birds live around here as part of a critical ‘ribbon of refuge’ that stretches from the edge of Bass Strait to Cradle Mountain and includes the Dial Range at Penguin and its walking trails.
The Canyon area shelters threatened species.
In the daylight, you might see a magnificent bird of prey, the Grey Goshawk. At dusk, Spotted-tail Quolls hunt and Tasmanian Devils scavenge for food.
